Who: Lavender, Rosie and Cho
What: Trying to calm a Weasley temper
Where: The house
No mother liked it when her child was crying, and Lavender was no exception. With Rosie bawling in her arms, though, Lavender was feeling close to tears herself. She'd woken up and started crying immediately, not even stopping when Lavender picked her up for her usual post-sleep cuddle. Lavender had fed her and her nappy was clean, but nothing seemed to stop her crying.
Lavender stroked her back, jigging her gently as she walked around the living room. "Come on, Baby Girl. It's okay. Mummy's got you. You can stop crying now." She glanced up at the clock, Rosie kicking her ribs; it had been nearly an hour.
