"Ron," he supplied, and then added, "The good-looking one," even though he knew Charlie would take the piss out of him for saying it. He didn't bother to answer her other question, although he did spot John grinning.

There was a groan from the other end of the table and a couple of coins came rolling down the table, which Desi gleefully pocketed. "Drink up, boys!" she announced.

Charlie rolled his eyes and said wryly “Modesty isn’t his strong point either.” He drained his drink and glanced at his watch. “It’s a bit early to be going there, isn’t it?”

Desi finished her drink and said, in a pleased voice, “Yeah, but there’s a bar next door. Forget the name.”

“The Leprechaun,” interjected John.

Ron pulled a face. "The Leprechaun?" That was certainly an interesting choice. He downed what was left of his drink and had to wait for Desi to stand before he got up.

"Come on, Char," he said, clapping a hand on his brother's shoulder, "I think there are some tequila shots with your name on."

John laughed at the expression on Ron’s face. “They won’t give a shit what we do in there as long as we didn’t get caught by the law. And it’s dirt cheap as well.”

Charlie grinned. “They’re the only bar I know which keeps cleanish clothes behind the bar for the punters.” Desi took one of Ron’s arms and John slung an around his shoulders. “How come we never got to meet you before? Charlie always had a long line of visitors.”

"Er, I dunno," Ron said, feeling a little hot when John put his arm around his shoulders; he'd had no idea that Charlie's friends were so forward, but it didn't surprise him too much. "Laziness?" he suggested, not really sure why he'd never visited Charlie in Romania.

The group Apparated to outside the Leprechaun. Even outside, you could practically smell the cheap alcohol and cigarette smoke.

They went into the bar and tried to find a table to fit all of them. There weren't enough chairs, so Desi settled back on Ron's lap. "You don't mind, do you? You're far more comfortable than the chairs anyway."

Charlie watched them in amusement as he settled and someone put another drink and a shot in front of him. The group downed the tequila and CHarlie went a little pale after drinking it.

"Sure. As long as you don't try any funny business," Ron told her with a grin.

He grimaced as he downed the tequila, his choke turning into laughter when he saw Charlie's face. "Alright, Char? Not too much for you, is it?"

CHarlie managed to get wash the taste out of his mouth with another swallow of his drink and said "No, but it could be for you the way things are going."

He smirked. "Are you sure you can handle the pace?"

Ron rolled his eyes. "Of course I can. Just you wait."

He was distracted from saying anything else, though, when he spotted Zach Smith enter.
