"Why Draco, I'm shocked. You think that I would do something to you." Fred laughed at the wary blonde. He had that look. The look that people who knew him or George for longer than 10 minutes would give him. It almost promised retribution. Almost.
"All I've got on me are a few slightly alter patented day dream charms. Don't think the soon-to-be-new Mrs. Weasley would approve if her future husband came home covered from head to toe in glitter and goo, now would she? Lighten up a bit Malfoy, you may just enjoy it."
Fred handed a bright Slytherin green box to Draco.
Blaise smiled and shrunk the box, placing it in his pocket. "I think I'll just take this home with me, since Draco doesn't want it and have Severus check it out before we try anything or give it back to Draco. After all, our new Headmaster is always interested in seeing what his employees are up to."
"Blaise, you're looking at this from the wrong perspective. Think of it this way, these women have to do this in order to survive and live the lifestyle they've become accustomed. By going in that room and donating the money that you have to them, it's going to a good cause and maybe, just maybe, one of those women will actually become the mediwitch they say they are trying to become," he said with a grin.
"Look, after all the experimenting with new ingreedients, I've got the formula for these suckers down to a fine science. Besides, there's been a few modifications and no one will suffer, Order's Honor."
Fred shook his head at his older brother. His older brother for goodness sake.
"As for the job, no. I haven't gotten around to telling much of anyone. The green houses were repaired, but still quite a mess. Trying to get them in order is killing me. Plus, half of the plants that I've ordered haven't come in yet. And if you even think of telling mum before I do, I'll end you and make it look like an accident."
Fred tossed the shot back, then let out a ring of smoke.
"Your loss. Cindi will be ready for you whenever you need her. So, what did Lavender have to say about this little shindig? I'm sure it was something along the lines of 'behave, no strippers, no pranks, and for gods sake, no Fred or George' right? People seem to be wary of me for some reason."
Fred took another shot from the tray, laughing as he made a dragon float through the fading ring.
"Great, now she doesn't trust me. Tell her I said that her telling Cho is a hit below the belt."
Fred grinned. Taking his wand, he charmed his dragon to evade Charlie's forcing it to crash into a wall. Laughing, he said, "Well, I guess it's about time for her not to trust me. She is part of the family now, isn't she?"
