"We do," Lavender said softly in agreement. "Mr and Mrs Weasley," she added, still not quite able to believe that she was the 'Mrs Weasley'.

Lifting her head, Lavender kissed Charlie softly. "I love you so much, Char."

"Me too, kitten," Charlie said as he kssed the end of her nose. The music changed to a poplar song of the moment and more people drifted onto the dance floor.

Charlie was glad as it meant less people were lookig at them.

Lavender smiled broadly as they moved positions slightly, her arms around his neck and his hands on her waist. "What was it you told me once?" she whispered, glancing over his shoulders to see various couples dancing. "Dancing is like making love with your clothes on?"

She giggled slightly. "I think a lot of people are going to be 'dancing' tonight."

Charlie laughed. “You’re right. Weddings have a way of making people want to go forth and multiply. And dancing is just a slightly more socially accepted way of having foreplay in public.”

Ron and John weren’t dancing but were propping up the bar and John’s arm was round Ron’s waist.

Twisting, Lavender turned to look in the same direction as Charlie. Giggling at the sight of Ron looking totally at ease with John, she shook her head in amusement. "So all Ron really needed was a good shag," she mused, turning back to Charlie.

"Well, we've already multiplied, so we don't have to worry about that." She nodded over to where her father was spinning around with Rosie, who looked absolutely delighted, her little face lit up.

“Thank you for that,” Charlie said dryly. “I’ve been trying to tell him that for years.” He grinned as he watched Duncan with Rosie.

“Well, we could just have fun practising multiplying. I think it needs lots of trying.”

"Mmmm." Lavender brushed a chaste kiss to Charlie's lips. "Lots and lots of practise." Smiling slyly, she added, "Besides, tonight is our wedding night. We're expected to have lots of sex. And on our honeymoon."

She looked up at him, licking her lips. "And forever and ever, til death us do part."

Charlie rubbed noses with her and said “And hopefully that will be years and years away.” He smiled back at her.

“And who am I to argue with tradition? Prepare to be ravished, Mrs Weasley.” He pulled her closer to him.

"Okay," Lavender said breathlessly at the tone of Charlie's voice. "I think a ravishing's just what I need." She rested her forehead against Charlie's, their noses rubbing.

"I don't plan on moving tomorrow," she said in all seriousness. "Let alone being able to move." It sounded like a bit of a challenge but, considering what they had been like when they had got engaged, it seemed very likely that she'd be sore in the morning and just want to lie in his arms all day.

Charlie raised an eyebrow. “Oh that’s good. I didn’t plan on letting you be able to move tomorrow.” He allowed himself to the faintly challenging note in Lavender’s voice.

He glanced around sighed. “People will notice if we disappeared now, wouldn’t they?”

Echoing his sigh, Lavender nodded. "Unfortunately. We're the reason everyone's here. We've got to stay."

She kissed him softly. "We can go in a couple of hours, I think."

Charlie pretended to pout and asked “That long?” The song ended and Charlie left the dance floor to go and sit with Arthur and Duncan who had been cooing over Rosie. Rosie, of course, had been lapping up the attention.

When she saw Charlie, Rosie said a very definite “Ba” and waved in his general direction.

Lavender went over to her mother and Molly; Hyacinth pulled her into a tight hug. "Sweetheart, you look beautiful. I can't believe my little girl's married!"

Lavender raised her eyebrows. "You've been nagging us to get married for months."

"Well, yes," Hyacinth relented with a frown, "but it's actually happened now!"

Molly smiled at her. "How are you feeling, Lavender?"

Lavender shrugged. "Great. Still so excited." She bit her lip. "It almost feels that there's a part of my life that's ending today. But, you know, something even better is starting."

Her new mother-in-law gave her a hug, though not quite as tight as the one she had given her after the ceremony. "I know I don't need to tell you to look after my little boy." Molly sniffed slightly. "I suppose he's not really little any more, though."

"No," Lavender said softly, shaking her head. "Not really."

Charlie saw that Lavender had been hijacked by their respective mothers and sighed. He decided not to interfere and turned his attention back to Rosie, who was enchanted by Duncan’s sporran.

He relaxed into his chair and took a sip of the drink that Arthur had passed to him. Arthur smiled at him and said “The hard bit’s over now.”

Duncan agreed and tickled Rosie. Rosie gurgled with delight. “Has she told you about your honeymoon yet? She was running around like a blue arsed fly trying to organise it all whilst you were away,” asked Duncan, half looking up.

Charlie nodded. “She told me earlier. It was a bit of a surprise, to say the least.”

"What was a surprise?" Lavender had left Molly and Hyacinth talking to Bill and rejoined Charlie. She slipped her arm around his waist, resting her head against his shoulder.

"Hello, Baby Girl," Lavender said softly, waving at Rosie. "Are you looking after your granddad?"

Rosie smiled at her. "Gah!"
